What are the limitations of eCommerce? You can buy clothes, shoes and even groceries online, but would you really?
Last weekend, I decided that I needed a new pair of shoes for work. I didn't really feel like going shopping. I don't think I ever feel like going shopping. So I decided to take a look online to see what I can find. I did a Google search for something like "mens shoes" or something like that, read a couple review sites and forums and finally landed on http://www.aldoshoes.com. I looked around and what caught my attention was that they offered free shipping for orders over $80.
I was open to the idea of making purchases online, since I've bought a number of items from Futureshop and Bestbuy in the past, but this was the first time I considered buying a "high touch" item online.
Long story short, I bought a pair of loafers called "Vic". Not only were they on sale and looked good, what sold me on this pair of shoes was that it had my name in it!
My order was delivered a week later and if you were wondering, the shoes do fit quite well and when the UPS guy delivered my shoes, it felt like opening a present. : )

Time for Change
I can't wait until I have time to redesign my website and blog. But one step at a time. Right now I'm focusing on some of my social networks. If you use Twitter, follow me @victor_chan
On a side note, have you ever seen a running pear? I haven't either, but my friend is training for a marathon to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. She has a very cool blog going, check it out when you have time. http://therunningpear.blogspot.com/
Take it easy!
